Don't Care!: Tell me why should I care?

Yes, why should I care? A friend of mine just came to me while I was smoking in "smoking stairs" today, he was not looking very happy. He tried to have a conversation with me but I ignored him with a smile. I was busy with my facebook. Guess what? after I finished a ciggy, I saw him making comment! and where do I know that? Yes, facebook! We're barely a meter away from each other, but why we should transmitted a message that travels around the world before reaching someone that near!

After "ciggy session" I went back to meeting room to discuss how can we automate more processes using our intranet so we don't need to travel between areas and even between desks! It's a good thing, efficiency mate! The funny thing is most of the guys in that room don't know how to start it. Great!

So what's the connection? Nothing! You can try to make connection between IT automation and facebook, assuming that smoking guy came in to the meeting room with me or any connection you want to make between those stories, but I don't intend to make connection by telling those stories.

Then why did I write? (and of course, I can ask 'why are you reading this?')...okay, I'm going to answer this one. I'm so fed up about people making connection between irrelevant issues and gossiping on absurd topics. The worse thing about that is people really believe those craps! You want a proof? devote a day in your life to chat with every people in your office, or better yet, watch gossip shows.

Constant bombardment of information makes us struggle to find the truth. How to filter out yourself then? turn on your "don't care!" mode.

PS. Just to check your sanity, did I make you think?
